With our summer positions, we want to offer you an opportunity to learn and develop together with us. You are facing an exciting, developing, and varied job during the summer of 2026.

At the psychiatric clinic in Höglandet, we are investing significantly in the area and have recently opened our latest addition in the form of a courtyard to create a better presence for our inpatient patients.

Your profile

We are looking for someone over 18 years old with a started education in health and medical care. Individual assessment will be made based on your qualifications and experiences. We would like you to have an interest in psychiatric care and our target group.

To succeed in the role, we emphasize your ability and willingness to collaborate, as this is a significant part of our work. It is important that you are stable in your personality as situations can change, which requires the ability to maintain calm and a realistic perspective. It means a lot to us that you have a positive attitude towards both tasks and colleagues, and together we create high patient safety and good accessibility, with the patient in focus. Personal suitability is highly valued.

To have the best possible summer planning, we look positively on if you can work 8 weeks or at least 4 consecutive weeks during the summer. Introduction will take place in addition to these weeks.

During your time with us, you will be assigned a mentor who will support you in creating the best conditions for you to take on your new role with us. Before you start working in the organization, you will receive a thorough introduction based on your needs and experiences. Additionally, we promise a solid foundation as we hold training for summer substitutes during week 24, where we will cover topics such as handling threatening situations, CPR, and an introduction to work and routines on the care unit over three days. Besides creating a good foundation for your employment, this provides an opportunity to build community with other summer substitutes.
